Martin Wall was a teacher of hearing-impaired students when he performed his first hearing test in 1976 and was employed as an educational audiologist in Perth after graduating in Audiology in 1979 from The University of Melbourne. After some years as a paediatric audiologist in Perth and at Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne, his specialization shifted in 1987 to mainly adult hearing aid work and rehabilitation; a role he has enjoyed since then, watching hearing devices develop from rather primitive amplifiers into the sophisticated digital wonders of today.

Tinnitus management has been a long-time interest of Martin’s, but this interest blossomed into an important part of his clinical experience following training in Tinnitus Retraining Therapy with Pavel and Margaret Jastreboff in 2001.
